I do good until...

Hi guys and gals! I thought it would be uplifting to know we aren't all in it alone when we have those "off moments" or slip up or that thing that we feel only we can't say no too etc.
So maybe we can all show some support and let that skeleton out of the closet and weight off our shoulders knowing we all have that thing?
I'll go first...
I DO GOOD UNTIL I SMELL FOOD! Example: I was driving to work this morning and on the freeway...no pizza place around...I smell pizza...seriously? Or at about noon when people go to lunch (i go around 1) I can smell all their deliciousness coming out of the AC vents and spilling on top of my desk...of course everyone else around doesn't smell it like I do (I must have a super sniffer) but it gets my tummy to growling and all of a sudden I am hungry!
So maybe we can all show some support and let that skeleton out of the closet and weight off our shoulders knowing we all have that thing?

I do good until...... I don't get enough protein, then I eat everything and don't feel full. Happened yesterday as a matter of fact.0

I do good until I start to watch "food porn" (cooking shows). Then I just give up and finish.0

I do great until I don't plan my day and have my food pre-cooked and packed away in handy little Tupperwares. I can stick to a diet of even the most boring foods out there, but if I'm caught with my pants down and I allow myself to get starving with none of "my" food around, game over. It's McDonald's time.0

Same here. I usually plan for the drinks pretty well, but if I have more than one or two I often eat rubbish or buy chips on the way home.
When I go out for big meals, I try to have either a starter or a dessert with the main, rather than all 3 courses. It's usually the starter as I prefer savoury food, but after a bit of booze, I end up having dessert as well.0 -
it used to be the weekends for me. I would do good but when sat and sunday rolled around I was like whatever. I remedied that by taking a short run on both days. I run 5.2 miles on each day then I only crave a salad or tuna after because that is my normal routine for the weekdays.
the smell of food doesn't bother me, the running trail i go to runs right next to a jack in the box drive thru, the smell of food doesn't get me. it's the boredom. I eat when I'm bored. so i fixed the boredom with running.0 -

With Food: When it's a holiday that requires eating and big "meals" Like Easter (that just passed)
With Exercise: When i'm sick or it's that time of the month. I really have to force myself to fight trough it and at least do SOMETHING0 -

SO TRUE!! I was just talking about this the other day...being women it is hard to be motivated during that time of the month...and then for everyone when sick...ugh!0 -
I do good until...I PMS. Then its a sugar free for all. Also, if I'm seriously lacking sleep I want to binge on sugar.0

I do good until I am in pain... which typically derails my routine and exercise plans and then the food situation goes down hill as well. Also, when I try to be too restrictive. I would love to lose 2 pounds per week (or even 1.5) until I get to my next mini-goal but last time I tried that it set me back 3 pounds (and a few weeks).0

I do good until I let exercise take a back seat to everything else. I have found that when I am "too busy to exercise", I am hungrier. OR, it may be that when I exercise, I don't want to eat bad stuff to ruin the hard work I've done. Either way...it's a reminder that it's not just about eating right...it's about moving right too.0

I do good until ..... there is free food in the kitchen at work - and I sit right outside the kitchen! Who can pass up free food? Well, not me!! (Truthfully I use it as an excuse to eat whatever I want even when I know I shouldn't.) Or when I can smell food coming from the kitchen ..... pure torture.0

I do good until...I get to working on the house, and decide to order a pizza rather than a proper meal.0

I do well until I get too hungry. Once I reach a certain point of hunger I can eat just about anything!0

I do good until... the weekend! I am in such a good routine all during the work week, but then being home on the weekends, running errands, doing chores, LONG RUNS, etc. All completely throws me. Really trying to create a better routine for the weekends to keep me on track!0

I do good until I'm hungry and faced with takeout options, such as while being out, or if I'm at home and I get hangry and then I just binge.. I can eat a large pizza in one sitting and be okay.. its awful. Then I eat clean for a week and then I binge again.. terrible. And the guilt and mirror-hating issues.. sigh.0

I am the exact same! The weekends are almost torturous for me in terms of my diet. During the week because I'm so structured with work, there's only so much time for me to eat. The weekend is when I tend to eat anything and everything around me simply because I have more free time. I try to go hiking at least one day which usually helps me keep a lid on things but definitely my struggle as well!0

Weekend is my achilles heel too. I *just* got back into running so I will have to try this when I am back up to running more days a week. Yeah I run and can stay pretty good Monday-Thursday, then Friday night all :explode: breaks loose.0 -
I do good until my husband says "Lets go out to dinner." We only get to go out a few times a year so I'm not wasting that on salad. Just no.0
