Ingredients
1/3 cup hoisin sauce
2 tsp. sesame oil
3 tsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. ginger root, minced
2 tsp. rice wine vinegar
1-3 tsp. Sriracha or other Asian chile paste
1 lb. lean sirlion, sliced into strips
Cooking spray
14 oz packaged coleslaw mix (or 5 cups cabbage, 1 cup carrots)
6 green onions, chopped
3 Tbsp cilantro, fresh, minced
Instructions
Whisk together the hoisin sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, vinegar, and Asian chile paste in a bowl.
Season the beef with salt and pepper.
Heat a non-stick skillet over high heat. Once hot, spray with cooking spray and add the beef. Cook for 3-4 minutes until done to your liking.
Remove the beef and set aside. Add more cooking spray and add the scallions, cabbage, and sauce. Cook for about 5 minutes until cabbage is cooked.
Turn off the heat and stir in the beef. Top with cilantro.
We did not use the cilantro, just don't care for the taste.
