Hi everyone! I joined My Fitness Pal a long time ago, but never used it. It wasn't until recently that a friend recommended that I use this site when I discovered I already had an account here. When I registered, which was probably May of 2008, I weighed 150.6 lbs. I had since gotten my weight down to 118. Over the course of the summer and early fall, my weight has gone up to 125, which isn't much, I know. It makes me uncomfortable that I've been at this weight steadily for the last 3 months or so. Usually if I get up to 125, it only lasts for a day or two from water weight and goes back down to 118 or 120. This time the number has stuck around! I do notice a significant difference in the way my clothes fit me and how my body looks. It is much softer and I can see a lot of the muscle that I worked so hard to put on has now been replaced by flab. I'm just looking to get myself back in shape. Not really looking to lose a huge amount of weight, but only trying to get back into the lean shape I was in a couple of months ago. I know I'm still at a good weight being 5'8", and I'm still at one of the lowest weights I've ever been in my entire teenage and adult life. I remember the last time I was 125 was 13 years ago when I was 12 years old.
Ultimately, as I previously mentioned, my goal is to look lean and feel as strong as I was a couple of months ago, before all the partying over the summer caught up with me. With My Fitness Pal, I hope to go back to my regular eating patterns, which mostly consisted of lean proteins and lots of fruit and veggies!
