Mouth sore

I bit my mouth on accident and I've got the biggest and most painful sore on my inside lip I've ever had and I've eaten maybe 500 calories since Monday night when it first got really bad just because I can hardly open my mouth let alone chew anything. Can anyone pleaaaaaase recommend some super soft or preferably liquid foods that aren't soup - I'm sick of eating it and it has to be cold because anything warm or hot is unbearable ((((( help me, thank you

ps: am already treating the sore, it just hasn't gone yet...and I need food!!

Thank you, it's amazing how much food you forget about when normal food is out of the question haha. And yes it really does suck! I have regressed to a baby state with no teeth :')

yogurt, cottage cheese, mashed potatoes, bread and butter (or peanut butter), apple sauce

I usually wouldn't advocate meal replacement shakes, but it sounds appropriate here! Smoothies might be good too..

Really sucks, I had something very similar happen when I put my tooth through my lip. Hurts so bad!

I know you didn't ask for it but when I get a sore, I use Colgate Peroxyl Mouth Sore Rinse and it really relieves the pain and the sore is gone in 1-3 days. I love it.

ScandiShakes are relatively palatable compared to Boost, Ensure, etc. I used them during head & neck radiation while I could still swallow before having to rely on my G-tube. I know pain and discomfort is relative but just keep in mind that things could be worse.

Weetabix & Quavers (not sure if you'll have these if you're outside the UK) but I suppose you'll have an equivilant! Let the Weetabix soak up the milk to allow them to go nice & soft!
