What's everyone being for Halloween? I was going to do my own version of Edward Scissorhands, but I was also taking the easy way out and doing something cheesy like a Greek goddess. It would be a good motivator to fit into the costume properly, haha.

  • I'm trying to convince my hubby to be Dexter for Halloween, and then I'd go as either one of his victims or his sister cop, Deb :)

I avoid the slutty costumes that the average girl my age wears...so I am going as a joke on the sparkly vampire thing..

I'm being a gypsy....the skirt has a slit and it shows your stomach area.

I got it last month as motivation....my belly flab is still slow going down but when I got it I wa sin the high 150's and now I'm at 149. Hoping to be 145 by Halloween!

I'm still going to own it cause I know it would like better on me at 145lbs vs 175lbs

Hubs and I are gonna get some camo thermal with boots.. that way I can show off my curves without skin... plus we'll be at a house party and staying the night... cheap, comfy and pjs! Plus it could be either hunter or army lol (we live in WI) lol 2 y/o will either match or be pumpkin.. depends on if I find camo thermal that small.

My mother's sending me a bustle dress that I wore in a play in high school, so hopefully it will fit. It should, I weigh what I did in junior high, but I'll find out for sure this weekend. My boyfriend and I are going as an Old West couple. He's going for a Doc Holliday look, but there's no way I can pull off Kate (I'm EXTREMELY Irish! Plus my bustle dress is far too modest!) so we're not actually going to "be" them. I did find him an awesome pimp cane at the Halloween store though, one that actually looked old-timey and kinda Western, not cheesy with a giant jewel. :p

no clue, hoping to find inspiration here... we're having a costume contest at work and i want to come up w/ something really fun/creative/modest.

i did like the edward scissor hands idea... not sure i could pull that one off.

or another thought is to steal my 6 yr old son's idea that he doesn't want to do - a lego guy... i thought it was pure genius, but I guess it's too out of the norm that he thinks his friends will make fun of him...
