This research is another waste of money. So, they're saying if you don't like fruits and veg, there's a pill that contains the same fibre which will suppress your apetite, who cares if you're not getting any nutrients from it as long as it presses down the urge to eat, it's all good!0

I think it is an interesting result. They now understand the mechanics of why fibre is satiating. I would have guessed that fibre is filling just because it is bulky. But the new research shows there is much more to it than that. The message I take away is, eat more fibre. It's not surprising that big pharma's reaction is to develop a drug that mimics the appetite surpressing effect of fibre in your diet.0
