Another stab at Insanity!

So, yesterday I dusted off my Insanity dvd's and decided to give it a whirl again. I completed my first round of Insanity August 2013. Literally the last day of the program I was rushing out the door and missed the step and broke my foot. Yeh. It was a long healing process and slowly the lbs and inches I was down started to creep back up. I was back to being sedentary and miserable. OMG. :noway: Well needless to say FINALLY in February I got the Dr clearance to resume as normal! While I have been working on my fitness since then, it wasn't until coming on the message board yesterday and met a new pal who wanted to restart Insanity. I immediately felt like, "Yeh, you know what, it's time!" So I dusted it off and went right into Plyo and holy smokes it was intense and brutal and it felt great to do moves I couldn't do before but I instantly felt I had more endurance and flexibility than I did back in August! I feel amazing today! I can't wait for day 2! If you have insanity and want to join the fun please add me! I'm a 36 yo mom of 4 and i'm so committed to my health and wellness! I have roughly 110lbs more to lose so I will be at it daily! I love sharing the experience and having that accountability. Let's do this! :flowerforyou: Have a great day!

I only got through the first 3 weeks, then got pretty bored with it. I don't like to make excuses, but little league has started up again, and I don't have a lot of time for myself. I have thought about starting it up again. Congrats on healing again. Good luck to you.

Hey, you made it 3 weeks and that is GREAT! You got bored with it? LOL I never got bored but did get tired of hearing "What's up y'all, I'm Shaun T.." LOL You should definitely make time for yourself and jump on the insanity wagon again. We can all hold each other accountable. Either way, thank you and good luck to you too!

PS...I see your from TX. My daughter was born in Plano, TX when we were passing through. :D We got lost trying to find the hospital and I thought, for sure, I would be delivering my baby in the van. Ha Ha.

    Haha too funny!!
Yeah I guess it just got a little too repetitious and just got bored. "what's up Y'all" does get a little old especially when you are getting up extra early and hadn't had a shower or coffee yet….he's a little too cheerful for me at that time of day.
