Today is my 2nd full day with myfitnesspal.com, it is going great and have told everyone I can about it. I want to lose 40lbs and don't have a timeframe to do it in. I love to eat and this will help me stay on track and also a way to maintain and keep it off for years to come. I plan on making this a lifestyle for me. I was on Jenny a few years ago and it helped and got me down but eventually the weight just came back on. I have to admit this last year was one of plentiful and abountiful eating sessions, but I need to understand that I not only can eat what I want there just has to be a point in which i stop. I am glad to be taking the right steps for diet and exercise. I am looking forward to reading a lot of your stories and hope to post some of my own success stories in weeks to come. For now I have already begun changing some of my meal choices just by entering in a day's worth of meals and making tweaks to it before i actually sit down to eat it!!!! SO FAR SO GOOD!! Talk to you soon!!

Welcome. I have been on MFP for 3 months, starting my 4th. It's the best decision I have made in many years. I have lost weight with diets many times before, but it was never a lifestyle change. This time is different; it's a lifestyle change, not a diet. Good luck on your weight loss journey. Please feel free to add me as a friend; we can help motivate each other.

Welcome! And Good luck!! I've been here a couple weeks and am still learning what I can and can't eat. It's amazing how many calories some things have! Enjoy your journey!

Hi and Welcome. :flowerforyou: You will like it here. MFP is soooooo much better than Jenny and it doesn't cost anything. I know what you mean about gaining your weight back after Jenny. Been there-done that....several times.
Good luck to you. BTW-if you have an iphone or Droid(I think), get the MFP app because it helps a lot when you're not at home.
  • Good Luck to you. I have found that since starting to enter and look at what I am eating that I make much better choices.
