    I went through a stage in my late 30s and early 40s when the MILF phenomenon took off. I was hit on a lot by young lads on a night out. My stock response:

    I have jeans older than you.

    But really, I am always flattered as long as it is respectful and decent. Who can get cross when someone approaches you to compliment you when you took ages of effort at nutrition, training and dressing up, make up, hair...I'm always flattered and polite.

    I do realise culturally things may be different elsewhere but in Ireland we have 'The Craic' with people on a night out at a pub and it doesn't mean the person wants to shag you or go out with you. Just a bit of banter.

    Nope, never really hit on. I know i come across shy though.

    It's one thing it seems that several people have no idea why they don't get hit on. Looks don't seem to be an issue for you, and maybe the ring does keep guys away.....you never know if the other half is nearby.

    I can't remember the last time I was hit on by someone who was sober. I don't count them if they are drunk. lol. I know what beer goggles can do. Though mine are usually whiskey goggles.
