Sugar Question / BM

Hi, so please be kind. I might be asking a dumb question, but I really just want to clear this up.
First- MFP gives me 45 g of sugar a day, which I usually go over by a few. But I mainly eat meats, veggies & fruits. So do natural sugars from fruits and veggies count? Might be an obvious no, but I thought I would ask.
Second, when I eat healthy, I tend to get a little constipated. Is that normal? I hardly eat dairy and eat a ton of veggies- shouldn't I be having the opposite problem? Sometimes I'll have a bowel movement every other day, sometimes it'll take up to 5 days. Never two days in a row. Maybe I'm not eating enough?
Any friendly comments on this would be greatly appreciated!
