30 Day Shred + New Tattoo

Hey guys! After failed at running I have decided to go with the 30 day shred and would like to start ASAP after seeing the amazing before and after photos of people. The thing is, on Monday I am getting a tattoo on my upper thigh. Should I wait till my tattoo is healed to do the 30 day challenge? Or should I take a few day breaks when the tattoo heals? I will have it done over MAX 3 sessions, which are 2 weeks apart. How do I go about this?

I know people who had this same question.... they actually waited until they'd finished their workout regimen (they did something else, not the 30 day shred). They said they were happy that they waited because they felt like they were rewarding themselves for their hard work! One in particular said he was glad he waited.... he actually lost about twenty pounds so the tattoo would have looked different if he'd got it when he was heavier. Of course, this just what I've heard from friends.
Good luck and I hope the tattoo turns out great!0 -

I already have my slot booked and he gets booked quickly. I don't think my weight loss would change my body so much it would destroy the tattoo. Just the healing is the small issue here.

That would depend on a whole lot from your skin condition and sensitivity, how quickly you heal, exactly where the tat is going and its size as well as what kind of exercise gear you will be wearing (can you say OUCH to shorts cut to the wrong spot). I know many runners that don't take much time at all when getting new ink and other people that need to take the down time to heal up, it depends person to person. If I were you I would ask your artist their advice.0
