I can understand the gym getting mad about the mother "training" her son. I don't understand why the gym management didn't simply talk to the mother and give consequences if she continued to break the rules.

The no warning and you're out treatment of paying customers is beyond ridiculous.

The bigger the gyms the more idiotic they become. There was one a few weeks ago who told a woman she was wering too little.
When they showed her...it was full length pants, yoga type, and a top that showed her midsection.
I have a few buds win the training world and they absolutely hate the big corporate style gyms like this.

I don't understand why they got their feathers in a ruffle, she wasn't exchanging money and she wasn't training anyone other than her son... As long as she doesn't take on clients I don't see what the big deal is.

    LA Fitness...Planet Fitness no difference...

neither have a good reputation and it's just getting worse...their C's need fired.

C's being CEO, CFO, COO along with their legal department and anyone associated with the rules they setup and enforce...

There was a teen kicked out of a gym for wearing "too little". She was wearing yoga pants and tank-stye top that not only covered her midsection but was baggy enough to hide any curves she may have had. She was also slender and very cute, so, that may have had something to do with it :p

She wasn't training him...they were working out together and she was making sure he wouldn't hurt himself...there is a big difference between training someone and giving them a tip on their form.

This is a shame. I will offer my home gym for her to workout any time...

This, ladies and gents, is how seemingly untouchable big biz goes belly up. I do not like these gyms so it won't be a great loss. There is no shortage of better gyms for them to join.

I belong to an LA fitness (they bought my gym) I would never pay their trainers a dime of my money. I have watched them with clients/customers it amazes me how they check their cell phones casually text in their pockets will they have the client doing a set of something. I see them looking around but not focusing on their client...shame..
Very unfair for this mom she was making sure he wouldn't get hurt.
