Does a woman weigh more during menstruation? Or is that a myth perpetuated by feeling bloated?

I always weigh at least 5lbs more but it is not actual weight, it is from bloating and retaining water. If you get something like midol it has a dieretic in it that helps you not retain so much!0

During your period you hold onto to fluid. That's where the weight comes from. You'll notice afterward, you'll drop that 5 pounds or so in one day. Just a nice little gift from Mother Nature.0

Yes it's fluid not fat! No need to panic when the scales go up, they soon go down again afterwards.0
