Hi my name is Jennifer and I am 24yrs old and weight over 300lbs. I have always been big and thought nothing seriously of it.
My excuses have always been "Its okay being the bigger kid and its okay because there are other people bigger than me. Or its okay I can eat a buffet of pizza since I worked out this morning. Or its okay, I don't want people to be close to me anyways, so what better way than to push everyone away with my weight."
Many times I have realized I am wrong and yet I hide myself in the comfort of my weight. Telling myself, "It's my weight that kept me from a job promotion, or my husband doesn't really love me, because who could love a person like me?"
I am tired of telling myself these things, and that is why I am here. I don't want to go back to that. I want to move forward and enjoy life with my family. I also want to help motivate people. I want to prove to everyone that I can do this!

You can do it, you just have to stick to it. I know its hard but it will be worth it in the long run. :flowerforyou:0

Welcome. I have been on MFP for 3 months, starting my 4th. It's the best decision I have made in many years. I have lost weight with diets many times before, but it was never a lifestyle change. This time is different; it's a lifestyle change, not a diet. Good luck on your weight loss journey. Please feel free to add me as a friend; we can help motivate each other.0
