losing motivation

So I got down to 155 last week from 172, and have since jumped to 158. Now I know most of that is probably water retention, but the last few days I haven't been motivated. Actually I've been feeling a little depressed and I find I'm eating my feelings again. Didn't even log yesterday or Tuesday's dinner though I will. I mean I'm not going over say 2500 cals, but my TDEE is more like 2000 so that's not good.

Weight fluctuates like that all the time. It is a common thing. If you are having trouble staying motivated and are looking for support, I help to run support groups through Facebook. We have lots of people in there that are improving themselves and helping everyone else to stay accountable. We teach about proper nutrition and how to exercise. I'd be happy to chat with you about it if that is something that you're looking for.

Sorry you're having problems. It's probably just a bump in the road. Here's a few things that I've found to keep me motivated:

I have a pinterest page with photos of very fit women. If I'm feeling unmotivated and don't want to go to the gym, I look through it. SO MUCH WANT!! That usually gets me moving.

I have purchased jeans in a smaller size. I want to wear them. I'll even try them on every so often. I can currently wear them, but they're tight and give me major muffin top. I'm waiting until they fit properly before I wear them out of the house...and will celebrate the day I do!

Great break through realizing you're eating your feels away. Now change it around to something positive. I try to go for a long walk outside when I am feeling a bit down, It really perks me up and keeps me away from eating when I am not hungry.
