Every day activities and calories?

Hi everyone, I was curious who pays attention to/logs calorie burns for everyday activities? For instance, like cleaning or walking your child to/from the bus stop. And for those with horses, daily barn chores and cleaning stalls, and riding?
I haven't been counting any of those things; I don't typically count any activity unless I'm 'working out'. I was just curious, especially since I don't know if doing those things really amount to anything substantial in terms of burning calories.
Thanks for your thoughts!
