So I joined here ages ago now and loved how helpful it was but I dropped off logging everything when real life dumped a world of problems on my head.

Now I have realised that I need help to start on new goals which are completly different to what I started from.

To keep it simple I am facing major surgery to be able to walk properly again meaning that I have a long road of 6-8 months ahead of me of physio mainly concerning my legs.

Im the mean time I want to gain as much muscle and strength as I can in my arms, shoulders and back.
I have no money to buy equipment so I am looking into body weight stuff and what I can do with an old set of 2kg wrist weights.

So my question is how on earth do I work out how much and what to eat and how many calories I am burning doing these excercises?

Yes I do have a HRM and food scales also I am female bodied.
