Any good tofu?

Hiya!

I am on a whole foods, plant based diet and instead of eating tofurkey (tofu lunch meat, for those who don't know) sandwiches, I've decided to eat strips of tofu with mixed veggies as my lunch instead since bread has a lot more carbs.

Does anybody know any reasonably priced tofu with low carbs, sodium, and calories? It has to be pretty easy to cook since I have to get up to go to school and only have an hour or so to get ready.

Thank!

I get House Foods firm tofu from Costco. Carbs 2g, sodium 10mg, 70 calories.

Do you know if they sell it at Kroger or Walmart? I'm just asking because my parents do the shopping and I'd hate to interrupt their routine by making them go to a different store for one product. Also, how is the texture? I will most likely be seasoning it with the typical onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper. Do you have any seasoning tips?

The ingredients and nutritional info is looking pretty good and I'm sure it'd be fantastic with some beans, mixed veggies, and nuts for lunch!

I'm not sure if you can find it there, but I can look next time I am out. I like the texture, and like I mentioned, I go for the firm. I usually just season with ground black pepper and crushed red pepper and throw it in with veggies over brown rice. Very quick and simple!
