FitBit and cycling

So I just received my FitBit and so far so good. Have any of you used it for cycling? How did it work? I was thinking about putting it in my sock.....

    I clip it to the hem of my shorts. the mileage won't equal that of the bike ride, but at least you'll get credit for each leg revolution.
