It's a weird one, because it's not entirely positive but I know it's good. I started to see my hips' stretchmarks, the ones that came from my most recent big weight gain i think. And it's weird and nice because I can see my body rearranging itself!!! also am pudgy all over the place, and my skin was quite tight before starting the weight loss.
I had about three that I noticed all within a day of each other!
First, for the first time in about five years, I am able to take my wedding ring off without either tearing apart/bruising my finger, or going through a whole bunch of soap/oil
Second, I had to put my Fitbit band up another notch because it kept slipping down to the bottom of my wrist!
And third, and probably the one I am the most excited about... When standing in front of a mirror, I realized I could actually see my bellybutton without having to lift any fat!
I love C25k! I’ve done it twice, the first time I got to wk 8 and stopped. This past spring I finally restarted 4 years after my first go and made it to the end. Now I go out and run a 5k likes it's no thing ☺️ Keep at it it’s so worth it! 🏃🏽♀️
Recently my doctor told me that my blood sugar was off the charts (15 mmol/l).
I started keto a few weeks ago and started walking again. Yesterday and today my after lunch/dinner blood sugar clocked at 4.2-4.6 mmol/L range which is normal!
In the past, it has never been so low. It was around 9.2 mmol/L when I was on low carb. I am so happy that it is well under control!
This morning I went to an aerial yoga class on impulse! Literally signed up an hour before the class started and rushed out the door to cycle 10K to a studio I’ve never been to. The last time I’ve done aerial yoga was in 2014.
Feels great to feel impulsive, get outside my comfort zone and (somewhat scale related) not worrying about whether my weight would be a problem.
I picked up some athletic capris at the thrift shop. Couldn’t try them on because dressing rooms are closed right now, but I figured since they were a size small and stretchy, they would be nicely snug but not too tight, which is how I like my athletic wear.
Nope, they were too big. They are still wearable but the stomach gaps a bit. Can’t believe a size small of any sort would fit like that.

First time wearing these shorts in like 5 years.
First time being confident enough to wear shorts to work EVER.
Your confidence is well justified!

The real reason was I knew deep down it would be tight and hard to do up. It's not now.
It's amazing how many clothes have 'broken zippers' until you actually fit into them properly again, and then the zip magically fixes itself...
