Thanks! It means a lot
Another NSV today - went out and ran for 4km (walked/ran) for the first time since I was a kid. It felt good.

My NSV is I am starting to be ok with logging numbers over my target. Today was a travel day and I gained 3 hours, which meant my eating day was longer. I ended 120 calories over goal, but its totally fine. It does not need I need to restrict further the next day, just means I continue on.16

This morning in church, someone came up to me and point blank told me it looks like I’ve been losing weight. People are noticing.13
-
My NSV is that I finally went down a size in clothes. I had to buy new jeans.16

I'm finally out of 'obese' and into 'overweight'. Haven't been there in a very long time....38

I’ve maintained "the new me" for one year! Hit my goal weight the day after Easter last year.
I logged my intake every day for two years. Today is day 737!
Finally, Easter was 8 days ago & there are still 3 big bags of candy on top of my fridge. I eat a few pieces of it every day and have NOT had anything resembling a candy binge. This is a HUGE improvement over the past years, including last year!26 -

Yesterday at Target I spotted this in the kids department. My husband looked at me like “WTF are you up to?” when I put it in the basket. I was to embarrassed to try it on in the store. It fit. An XL kids size. Dang. Still waiting for the brain to catch up with the body, though. (Why is this? )
NO LIE, I covet things from the girls' department at Target all the time. Maybe I will sneak an XL in my cart between some misses things and try it on next time I'm there.

I made it through my weekend and stayed on plan15

I've dropped a pant size18

Actually did some tri training this weekend. Got in a couple of swims. One of them was a mile. Practiced the bike route for the tri (that is less than 2 weeks away) with my trainer. Made it up the hill from hell. I'll finish the race.20

I went walking today for exercise. Not only was my pace slightly faster than it had been, but I also noticed that my old velour drawstring pants were getting loose. When I got home, I had to tighten the knot.16

My "before" shorts from when I lost weight before fit. Snug, but they button! I will be ready just in time for summer!14

In Friday I managed to squeeze in a HIIT workout and a lifting session (both in the garage with little people underfoot) in between hosting 40 or so people, cleaning up, and packing/leaving for an overnight camp out.
Once we got to the campsite, I took my 3 youngest and two other kindergarteners on what was supposed to be a 1 m loop hike/trail run. Well, it was not 1 mile (I guess I hit on the 3 m loop instead). After 40 minutes with no signage in sight and lots of small legs getting tired (& darkness approaching quickly), I turned us around and gave my 3yo a piggy back ride the 40 minutes up & down the mountain back to camp. But I made it both through the running portion on the way out and the packing out the 40lb toddler portion on the way back, sweaty but feeling good!
Additional NSV is that my 7 & 5 yo were excited, running and jogging in good spirits the whole time, not trudging or crying or complaining! All of their daily pickup games and activity are paying off in great endurance for their ages (3yo made it 45 minutes without complaining, despite numerous falls due to overzealous running).
The cherry on top was coming home Saturday to hit my previous deadlift PR from before my hip injury (last June) 😊26 -
I went swimsuit shopping with my friend, and for the first time in my life, enjoyed myself doing so. I left the mall with a bikini that I absolutely loved, and loved the way that it fit on my body.23

I didn't get super exhausted helping my brother move on Sunday. Carried lots of boxes up and down the stairs. Then, we went out for pizza, and I had my fill but didn't go overboard, and let my brother have the leftovers rather than each of us taking out share home.23

First NSV: Someone in my office commented on my weightloss. Apparently, it's quite noticeable. I told her that I've lost ~14kg and she said it really shows! She said I look healthier and brighter! I was about to go to the gym for my run, so i was running on cloud 9 whilst on the treadmill
YAAAAAAAAAY! I don't need the validation, but it's still nice when someone comments positively about your hard work.
Second NSV: I was on holidays last week and I didn't lose any weight - but I didn't gain either! I upped my calories to 1800 and I know I was carrying a lot of water weight when I got home (I'm a few days out from Aunt Flo). I was expecting a 0.5-1kg gain, but nope! Not a gram!15 -
This morning I looked at myself in my nudey pants and I didn't hate what I saw, in fact, I quite like my body now even with its flabby bits23
-
I finally, finally got my blood glucose under control (type two diabetes here). My body is finally dealing with sugar the way it should again. Diet, portion control and daily exercise... Who knew it could be so simple??24
-
I have 2 that rocked my world today! I actually DO have a waist line and I had to put another notch in my belt to keep my pants up. Loving it!14
-
Yesterday was the one year anniversary of my decision to be kind to my body. The longest commitment I made to myself previously was the whole 30.... and then I went right back to my regular way eating.
-I don't get winded walking up my stairs, I can run up hills!
-I'm training for a marathon and am now up to 26 km.
-I really truly look forward to exercise.

I was wearing shorts this morning and my boyfriend asked if I've been working out every day because my legs look more toned10

Yesterday I grabbed 2 freddo frogs out of the packet at work. Ate the first 1, opened the 2nd 1 then went "Sam what the hell are you doing?!?!" and put it back in the packet (I bought the packet for a workmate who was here for a short stint and she left them here for me so I don't feel guilty about putting an open one back in the packet.
I am officially wearing a size 14 (AU) Outback jeans. They ARE known to run a little big but it won't be long before I'm in a 14 across the board, all my 16s are getting baggier by the day. There's even a few pairs of shorts that are literally falling off me when I wear them. And I realised the other day that I have no nice shirts that fit nice, well apart from my competitive riding shirts, but for a day in town I don't have anything. Time to do some shopping methinks. 😁
Also- someone called me tiny yesterday! Like seriously? Me?!?! I'm a long way from tiny, and didn't expect to hear that one for a while yet, but I guess it's perspective, I probably do look tiny compared to what I used to look.15 -
Bought some new clothes for the first time since losing weight, and found that I have gone from wearing a tight 36" waist to wearing a very comfortable 33".20

I am overweight! Goodbye forever, obesity!54
