Hi, I am Rich from the Midlands, United Kingdom. I had been a typical yo-yo dieter in the past, had limited success low-carbing in 2000 and then had great achievements calorie counting, combined with running (using C25K) to get to my lowest ever adult weight prior to my wedding in 2011.
Since then the lbs have piled back on and convenience (lazy) eating began once our Daughter was born at the end of 2012. I picked up my training in the early part of 2013 but a car accident set me back a lot in June last year - only since March 2014 have I had the strength of will to take charge of my life and body again.

I am now running (and enjoying!) 5k's every other day and building up to 10k using the C10K app as I once did before, but this time I have begun lifting at home after seeing the amazing results with my Wife - who began lifting with a personal trainer in January.

I am a bit of a facts and figures guy, knowledgeable (book worm!) - but not always putting into practice what I know I should be doing lol. I enjoy motivating others and hoping to enjoy this journey with you good people reading.

    I used to think C25k was couch to 25k and I thought people were mad for doing it. :laugh:
