reverse dieting questions

I'm not actually doing reserve dieting, strictly as I think you're talking about it, but my general diet plan looks like reverse dieting. Basically, as I approach my goal weight, I am gradually shrinking my deficit. Every 5 pounds I lose, I add about 150 calories a day to what I aim to eat. I adjust it up or down depending on my average TDEE (which hasn't really varied all that much).
The ideal is that I will eventually approach my goal and my maintenance calories at the same time. So, when I am done, I don't have to make any major adjustments. It does mean that losing the last kg will take almost three times as long as the current kg I am working on losing... but, it's not a race.0
