And so it begins….again, this time I have help :)

I am almost 35, I have been working full time as well as raising my two kids pretty much on my own for the past five years. Last June I met the woman who is now my fiancé. I also quit my job to work for myself at the same time, but that is another, irrelevant, story. Anyways we love to be outside and we did a good amount of hiking and walking when we started dating but that fell off during the Winter months. We recently have really gotten into biking and we are frankly tired of our weight and my two kids are down a dangerous path to being overweight. Full family makeover time :) We joined our fitness center and have been biking or hiking when it is nice as well as going to the fitness center. The wedding is in 6 weeks so we won't see a huge change before that time, but we aren't doing this for the wedding, we are doing it for life.

Currently I am 295lbs at 5' 10", a typical weight for me this past decade. I have dropped to 280 a bit and my low was at 265 but it often stays where I am now. I am not even sure of my final weight goal, I put in 190 but I am going to go by how I feel, how i look and my fitness level as I love lifting weights and was athletic all through high school. So here I am :)
