There are lots of great grocery stores in Pasadena, CA.

I love the one year old Whole Foods in Pasadena (two stories) - it's huge and gorgeous. Their salad bar is amazing!!!!!!

Also, if you can find a Trader Joe's - they have healthy food options.

    Enjoy your trip to CA!!!

Most hotels will bring a small refrigerator to your room if not there already. There are plenty of grocery stores - so you could pack the magic bullet and do what you do best. OR - you could find healthy alternatives - hotels and restaurants will always have choices. Broiled or grilled chicken and fish - lots of steamed veggies - avoid starches, breads and alcohol. If they don't have on the menu - ask - they will do something for you. Have fun!

I had to travel last week, and became a regular patron of the Subway in the shopping center next to the hotel!
