This is HARD!

Hi! My name is Alley. I have never had issues with weight but am now the age where it's hit me like a ton of bricks! In 2012-2013, I gained 20 lbs with no change in diet or activity!!! I'm in a good health range- 1 more lb and I'm classified as "overweight", so I'd like to try to get back to the size I'm used too- or perhaps just shed about 10 lbs and not the full 20. I've been trying since the moment I noticed the weight gain, but haven't lost 1 oz. It's been nearly a year of efforts with zero results. I'm trying this out to see if it will help.
Good luck to everyone!

In that year, what EXACTLY have you been doing. Food/exercise? Are you tracking it? Measuring food? Counting calories? I'm guessing no if you've had no loss for a years worth of trying. You left out too much key information.0

You have come to the right place... The first step is holding yourself accountable for every bite you eat. I honestly suggest buying a digital food scale and measuring everything... Its not that hard to do and helps you realize how much your eating as well as how much you should be eating... Know that the older we get, the less calories we need in life... There are several great forum links on here to read that will help you get started... Good luck!!0
