Do you ever change your deficit on different days?

I got soooo hungry after I came home from a 12 hour shift and gobbled up a pizza. But I didn't overdo it. BUT it also wasn't my usual 1000 calorie deficit. I decided to do a 500 calorie deficit because I'm a hungry man!

Anybody else ever do this?

    I do! Its perfectly fine, I'm still losing even if its just 100 calorie deficit. You'll be fine :)

    I think a deficit is a deficit. 100-500, whatever, you're still burning them. I do think a 1000 cal deficit is a bit extreme, though.

    Sure. Nothing wrong with that. Sometimes we are just hungry and need to eat a bit more.
