Favorite recipes for Surimi (fake crab/lobster etc)

Easy fake lobster salad

1 pack Trans Ocean chunk style lobster classic8oz
2tbsp light mayo
3oz light cream cheese
1tsp lemon juice
1/2 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup frozen corn
1/8tsp white pepper
1/8tsp garlic powder
1/8tsp opinion powder
1tsp dried dill weed
1/8tsp salt or to taste

Dice the lobster flavored surimi and put in mixing bowl. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Let rest for 10 minutes. Stir again and serve. Great for wraps, sandwiches and topping salad greens. Makes 3 3/4 cup servings

    Some people might diss them for being processed, but I think they are a great portable protein snack. My favourite use is Japanese hand rolls. The recipe below uses canned tuna, but I would use surimi and avocado for a California hand roll.

    It is really good in a Cobb type salad - whatever salad stuff you want to use. I usually do romaine, cherry tomatoes, bacon, hard boiled eggs, and avocado with blue cheese but that can be adjusted however you want.
