Update and injury (question also about balance)

This is not your normal motivation topic.
I'll be honest with you mpf. I relapsed over the past month. I have been trying to get on track but I digress though, this isn't for that problem. There is another problem I have at the moment.
For you see, about three months ago I went riding, (February 26th) fell off the horse because of my own stupidly. Do not blame the horse for the rider's mistakes here. Horse is free of charge.
For you see, I jumped before the horse which made me unbalanced and on the other side, her landing unbalanced me even more. I feel off on my right shoulder which, fractured my collar bone. I than got up after my instructor and one other person (who works at a hospital) told me I broke my collar bone. Not believing them I moved my shoulder and arm to prove that I wasn't as injured as they said I was.
Bad move on my part. I ended up with a fractured fragmented collar bone that needed a plate, six screws, and two pins to help it heal.
I make this thread in hopes to find someone who has the same problem as I at the moment. I find my balance to be off and before I go back to the doctor in a panic I want to know if this is a normal problem people have.
Anyone with metal in their body do you find that your balance is off because of it?
And note: I am going back to my doctor I will ask the question. I am not asking you all to be doctors. I just...want to know if I should worry.
NVS: Since then I have dropped all diet drinks! None of that fake sugar anymore!
