Water, finally made good

Options
I can drink water, but I don't "love it" until now.

A quart or so of water (almost what your blender will hold)
4 or 5 fresh strawberries
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
juice of one lime....
blend in blender.

Looks a little like a daiquiri. Tastes very refreshing.

(I admit that I found this on Dr. Oz this week. Dr. Oz or not, water made this way tastes really good. Kind of like the hotel water at the Hilton, but this is better because the fruits are intense.).

If you have a great way to enjoy water (for those of us who usually don't 'love it'), please share.

This sounds fantastic! I for one have no problem with water but my bf does. He will not drink the stuff unless it is flavored. Therefore, i will make the recipe for him.

Here is another we do on occasion as a 'mocktail'
I'm sure if you water it down you could drink it all day long :)

    Lemon-Lime Basil Ade

    Ingredients:

    Servings:
    4
    Units: US | Metric
    1 lemon, peeled, seeded
    1 lime, peeled, seeded
    2 cups ice
    1/4 cup fresh basil
1/4 cup sugar or 1/4 cup Splenda sugar substitute
    1 1/2 cups water
    Directions:

    1
Place all the ingredients in the Vita-Mix container or a heavy duty blender.
    2

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Using seltzer water in these concoctions might also be helpful for people trying to cut out soda; that way, they still get the fizziness along with some sweetness.
