Are there moves that help with armpit fat?

I want to wear my tank tops, and bras for that matter, without that bit hanging over. Are there things that can help or is it a matter of losing the fat (calorie deficit I know)?

Unfortunately you can't spot reduce. It comes off where it wants to when it wants to.

    Strength training may help though.

    Just lose overall body fat.
Best practice is to lift weights 2-4x a week.
    Get optimal sleep.
    Eat a healthy balanced diet.
Walk more or move more in general.

I'd really like to lift, but I can't go to a gym. I have 5lb weights. I can't really get anything heavier but I can probably get a kettlebell if there are good ways to use that.

    Look up Convict Conditioning.

Use stuff around the house - fill milk jugs with water or sand.

Consider a TRX suspension system. It can mount on your door and be put away in a bag when done. Also can do lots of different body weight exercises.
I don't sell it, I just use it with clients and have had great experiences with it. It's pretty affordable and you can take it just about anywhere to workout.

You can tighten up the muscles in that area with overhead pull downs and/or pull ups. Should give you a little lift.

Yes! Here is a very simple move that will instantly & painlessly get rid of the dreaded "armpit fat":

Step 1: Walk into a reputable bra store & have them fit you with your correct bra size.
    Step 2: Wear it!

And that's it! Works like magic! :flowerforyou:

$ and my kids. I can only work out in the evening and can't leave them (no sitter). I can't get big heavy equipment because we're also prepping to move with the military and have limited space and weight allotment. Plus the whole $ thing. Lol

I was going to suggest this as well, best thing I ever did. Expensive, but worth it.

also all the workout suggestions-but seriously, start here. And then get refitted every 20 pounds you lose.

    I had the same problem.
But the last 5 lbs I have lost improved that issue a lot ! as in over an inch.
    Be patient.
Might sound strange but until that underarm fat goes away try applying Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer to your underarms/and the hang over stuff. Everything looks better tan, right ?
It really helps with sleeveless tops.
    Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll look into the TRX too. I do need new bras, but I'm hoping to hold off since I'm still somewhat nursing and my sizes will be changing over the next few months (pretty sure I went down a cup size :-( )

I've seen TRX home training systems for $139.00. Just don't look to buy it from TRX.

If you already have a husband, why are you wearing tank tops and losing armpit fat to sleep with other soldiers? I mean I get that you want to serve the nation with the one talent that you have (lying on your back), but kind of rude to your husband....

I think its safe to assume you're a troll, but thats not my goal. Surprisingly, I want ti look good for my husband and feel good about me. Shocking I know.

My apologies, I was unaware that "tank top" was code for "need to cheat on my husband". My bad.

Why do you want to look good for him? He already married you and he is unlikely to divorce you because you'll take him to the cleaners with your alimony and child support payments and you probably won't grant him a divorce so he'll have to live with his mistress in sin until the divorce is finally over.

Me either! I must go apologize for "cheating" on my husband via a shirt choice. Honey, I didn't realize it but my tank tops are out cheating on you. I'm so sorry. I really had no idea they'd jump out of the closet and run around like that. They'd better put a warning on these darn things before more women are led to sin.

    Should we start a petition?

No, the tank tops themselves are not cheating, but you are wearing them to attract and sleep with other men (and women too probably) *kitten*

I'll ignore the troll now. It's making me forget what I meant to type!

I understand "triangle" push ups help with under/back of the arms without any equipment if you're traveling. They are hard at first but once you have the hang of them not too bad. They are also a good warm up for any kind of lifting! I suggest looking up good form on the internet

Do you have a life outside of having sex with your husband and countless other men? Seriously, get a hobby!

I don't belong to a gym either and I've made progress in the first month: I started doing C25k (walking/running outside), Jillian michaels 30 days shred video and what ever other random videos I could find online or OnDemand.
The give pound weights you have are perfectly suitable for 30 day shred.
Also, the most importan thing to lose fat is to eat accordingly.
