Feeling hungrier?

When I reach my calorie goals, I feel satisfied enough that my stomach doesn't want more food late at night. But today (and it's only been a week), I'm feeling quite hungry, but it's almost time for me to sleep. I wanted to say maybe the foods I eat aren't filling enough, but up until now, they didn't seem to be a problem. Could that be my metabolism and does that mean I should raise my calorie goals?

Assuming everything else is inline and these are occasional occurrences, then maybe structure your food intake where you save yourself some calories during the day to eat at night something that has a little more protein and or fat content as those two offer better satiety than carbs. I know I even sleep better having felt satisfied before settling down.

i have days like that too. ill eat my goal, then an hour later be starving. that generally only happens on a very heavy lifting day(which is 4 days a week, lol) on those days i always save myself about 400 calories for a yummy bowl of ice cream. that seems to always work for me.
