Recommendations on video?

Hi all,

My and my wife just finished the 30 Day Shred. Well, actually, my wife finished it as I over did it on day 15, busted my back and had to stop exercising fully (switched to walking) and am now back and ready for exercising.

I was hoping to receive some recommendations for a new video to try out. Ideally:

1. Something dummy proof; neither me nor my wife have much experience exercising and both of us have two left feet (so advanced "choreographies" our out of the question.
2. Also, something dummy proof in the sense that won't injure amateurs like us!
3. Hopefully something that we can easily find in Youtube or similar :-) We're kind of low on budget right now.

Any suggestions? Just in case, all we have is our TV, and a set of dumbbells, no extra equipment!

Thanks!

See if your library has any exercise videos to check out! Garage sales and goodwill stores often have them for a couple of bucks. The videos may be outdated as far as music but the exercises aren't.

Thanks, it hadn't occurred to me to check out the library

Meanwhile, anyone has any suggestions I can find in Youtube for a good starting video?

Try befit in 90. The whole program is on YouTube. Just google it for the calander. I consider my fitness level high intermediate and I really enjoy powerstrike4 & 5 plus bodystrike1. Also on YouTube. Anything by Jessica Smith and you can also find a few Bob Harper videos

Biggest Loser power walk was my first video. It is also on YouTube but you may find it dull after doing 30 day shred

I like fitnessblender.com. also on youtube. The workouts are pretty basic wide variety of styles, times, difficulty, lots to choose from. But they are boring videos with no music just instructions.

I will echo the reccomendations for Jessica Smith and Fitness Blender. Both channels are awesome.

If you want a program, you can try Stronger: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fmo-n_P5Ot4&list=PLFuALHUoMFeo5qFQJQzYuDJ1h5rV-JrWz which is an 8-week program. I've only done the cardio because I'm doing a different strength program, but I I like the workouts I've done. There is a low-impact modifier in them as well.
