How to slim down the thigh and hip area

I have been using MFP for a long time and was successful in losing weight. However I lost all of my weight from my head down, and my legs (mainly thighs) are the exact same size as when I started. I walk and move around a lot during the day, and cannot fit gym time into my schedule (due to school). I am at a healthy weight (BMI of about 18.7), but my thighs are not proportional to the rest of my body. What foods should I be eating to lose (I would consider myself a pear shape), and how many calories should I eat? I eat around 2,000 a day. Thanks, and no mean comments please!

Sadly, there's no known method for spot reduction.0

Then genetically you have bigger thighs. Only way to "slim" down your thighs is to not use them, causing muscle atrophy.
Your other choice is to work on your upper body to be more proportionate.
