How do I log this meal?

I went to a restaurant tonight. I ordered steak fajitas. I asked the waitress not to bring the rice, beans, or tortillas. So far so good. I ate half of the rest of the meal. It was steak, peppers, and onions as far as I could tell, probably sautéed.
This has been my first experience with logging calories. Counting calories is new even though I am old
How do you guys do this, just guesstimate?

Can you look up the restaurant nutrition info online?
If not, I'd log in the different things you had using the database. Since you modified your meal, you will have to do some guesstimating.0 -
It's just a local restaurant, not sure if they have the info online.0

Log: steak, peppers, onions, oil - guess portion size

I'll try logging it separately. I really like this logging calories and exercise thing. It's keeping me on my toes.
However, this has been a continuing problem for me. When I go to a restaurant, most of the time I don't know how to log it unless it is something simple like scrambled eggs. So I just don't log that day.0
