70 days, good progress but not pic worthy

Day 70 of returning to monitoring my food intake, eating at a deficit and doing regular exercise. Am sticking with it and am losing fat by both of my measures (tape measure and bodyfat caliper). From tape measure dropped from 27.6% bodyfat to 22.5% and from calipers dropped from 27.4% to 19.9%. Also been taking before after pictures but so far haven't really noticed a significant change in my overall body so nothing worth showing yet (at least I cannot tell). I imagine as I drop sub 20% bodyfat the changes will be much more noticeable.

Still, dropped 3 inches around my abdomen and 8 pounds of weight in 70 days so not too shabby. Got a ways to reach my goal but heading the right direction.

You are doing great - and I don't see the difference in my pictures either - but everyone else does - post them anyway!

I will take some more when I hit Day 90 I think (3 months in) and post those for comparison even if I don't see a difference myself.

Right now on my profile I have my reverse before-afters. What I mean by that is I have pictures of my "before" three years ago when I was rather fit and my "after" in late February of this year when I finally bothered to notice I had put on about 35 pounds of fat.

So as embarrassing as it is for the purpose of motivation here is my reverse before-after:

    Before at 15% bodyfat:

    and

    After at 27% bodyfat:

Yeah I messed up and let myself go. Time to get back into shape, I know I know how.

You can do it - and you will notice the difference - I am sure of it!

You are doing great and you are a great motivator to me as well!

Technically I have only lost 6 lbs, but I've dropped a size in clothes - so it isn't always a "scale" thing good job
