I see you. I see you because I am a runner and a biker. But, when I'm on my way to the gym at 5:00 in the morning, and you've chosen your favorite gray t-shirt with black shorts for your early morning run, others don't see you. Please, please, please remember to wear BRIGHT colors when you're out running/biking. I would hate for anyone, in the quest for better health, to be killed by a driver who couldn't see you.

Seconded! Also reflective gear is not only safer but SUPER COOL.
(Also the same PSA goes for night-time runners/bikers/walkers. So many people in my neighborhood wear black hoodies, of all things, to dart about in at night. Scares the crap out of me!)0 -
Being a runner and cyclist myself, I will add :
A headlamp for running
A headlight and tail light for cycling.
Thank you!0 -
I run as well. When I leaving the gym the other morning at 7am this girl darted out into an intersection when she didn't the cross light and I had a green light. She didn't even look side to side to make sure she could see oncoming cars (me). I had to slow down and I'm glad I noticed her moving (also wearing darker colors).
+1 for reflective gear and headlamps.0
