Blood Sugar

I will just put this here....

7 months ago my blood sugar was 177, my Dr. checked it this morning and it was 108. First time I should not have eaten anything, but I did. So I also ate the same thing as then this morning before I went to be fair.

Exercise and a better diet pays off. I refuse to be another diabetic in this country. I think way to many people never find out that their blood sugar is too high until they get older and can`t figure out why they are tired all the time or something else happens. So I invite those of you, and especially those over weight to please check your blood sugar. Some pharmacy's will do it for free, and most all of us know someone who is diabetic, so ask them to prick your finger and check it.

I have checked mine randomly over the past few months and have watched it fall. On an empty stomach I am now always below 100, where 6 to 7 months ago I was around 150. And yes, I feel much better physically and mentally now! Don`t wait until you have to live on insulin...

Agree; my blood sugar (just a smidge above normal) dropped to low normal as soon as I started eating better, exercising and losing weight. Excellent.

This is so important! Diet and exercise can manage or reverse Type 2 Diabetes. I've lost 25 pounds since the first of the year and my fasting glucose has dropped from an average of 170 to an average of 110. Blood pressure is down a bit too. To explain: By "Reverse" I mean that your glucose has been normal long enough that the diagnosis of Diabetes can be removed from your medical records. I will always eat and exercise as if I am diabetic - even when my glucose is totally normal.
