Exercise Bike Mileage

I bought an exercise bike at a local yard sale, and I love it! However, the digital display no longer works So I am trying to find some kind of App or maybe device that would help me to track mileage or calories burnt. I have downloaded several apps but nothing really has worked. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I am not sure what type of exercise bike you got, but there is a device for a regular bicycle called a Cat's Eye. It's a sensor that attaches to your wheel and it counts the number of rotations to calculate distance. You have to be careful and calibrate it correctly when putting it on in order to get an accurate reading, but it comes with instructions on how to do this. Again, it may or may not work with your exercise bike, depending on how your bike is set up, or if it even has rotating wheels. I would Google it and see if it looks like something you could use. On the other hand, you could always just get a heart rate monitor to track calorie burn.0
