I'm curious about this too. I have heard that weightlifting can increase the amount you burn at rest but I don't know how much or what kind of a difference it makes in the actual amount you can eat. I do know that when I do strength training, I am a good deal hungrier than usual for the rest of the day.
Hopefully others with real answers will come by, because I want to read what they have to say. I'm 5'1" on a good day and have just started strength training since I'm almost at maintenance.0 -
Isn't there a macro calc on iifym.com?

154cm , 96-98lb and I lift heavy 3x per week. I'm reasonably active (12000 steps per day) in everyday life but do no additional or high intensity cardio. I need a minimum of 2000 calories per day to hold my weight.0

I'm 5'0, 110.5-113lbs. I lift 3x a week, and do cardio 2x a week. I typically eat around 1500 calories, but I'll probably be increasing the number soon. Some days that just doesn't feel like enough food for me, so I'm testing out the numbers.0

I'm 5'2", 63 yr. I am trying to lose about 40 lbs. I lift 5 days, cardio 4 days. I don't really count my calories per se, just make sure I have a 500 calorie deficit at the end of the day. Usually try for a burn of about 1900 and consume around 1400 to get my deficit but it goes above or below sometimes. Trying for a 40p/30c/30f macro.0

I am prepping for my next NPC show in June and trying to put on a little bit more muscle (with a little necessary fat gains, of course) and am slowly increasing cals per week. Right now I am at 2,300-2,500. Peaking at ~3,000 hopefully by the end of the month.
I'm 5 ft 2 ~110lbs probably around 13-14% BF I'd assume right now. Come closer to show day I will probably still be around this but maybe a little heavier (hopefully - want to build my glutes/legs up a bit!)
I love seeing the variations between us all - interesting! I lift 5/6x a week, HIIT cardio 1/2x.0
