Sorry, but does anyone else get wind from exercise?!

I am 52.9kg, 18yr old female who has 19% body fat. Whenever I go to the gym I get crazy amounts of wind which will stick around for the rest of the day (yeah I know it's unpleasant). I was wandering if this is common / if anyone has tips on what to eat that helps!? Sorry to be so grim..

  • My first thought would be that exercise gets things moving on the digestive front, so I would take a close look at what you are eating and see if anything stands out. Dairy, fiber sources, etc. are notorious for causing gas, and exercise might just speed it on through. If you have any issues with constipation (not uncommon when dieting), that will just prolong the problem.

    I'd agree with the previous poster. Exercise does get your system moving.

    I have that problem, especially if I'm doing HIIT, or anything involving jumping. Thankfully I work out at home, so I only annoy myself (and my spouse).
