Long Lonely Days

I have found myself without much to do with my days lately and I have plateaued over the last 2 months. I have eaten crappy, yes, but lately I am better. Need to wrap up Project Me, so I want to know with all this time on my hands if there is any benefit to splitting cardio and lifting between am and pm. Anyone doing this? Pros, Cons?
Also, I am aware eating/diet is the biggest contributor to fat loss, just want to know on the exercise end of things if this approach would give me the boost I am looking for.

I like cardio as a warm up for lifting so i never split that way, but I have done two-a-day workouts, which is always fun. Or I mix things up with my normal cardio/workout in the a.m. and then add a new cardio activity for the p.m.0

I do weights at lunch & running at night. When I do weights, I still do 15-20 min warm up of cardio! I do 2 a days a lot
it's not weird. I feel the same way. I enjoy working out a lot. If you like it, do it
