    Interesting article. Wasn't surprised about much of the content. Hard to argue with their results.

    The only part I was surprised by was the mention of bodybuilding style assistance work. You get some coaches who seem to advocate doing absolutely nothing outside of the competition lifts and squat variations.

    I think their reasoning is definitely just (provided that they still make weight). Not exactly the same but similar to "powerbuilding". Focussing on the big 3 predominantly but doing assistance exercises in the BB rep ranges to promote more hypertrophy.
