Need some help please!

I have been logging on myfitness pal app now for 53 days (as it tells me!) and in that time I have lost 6lb.

I have stayed the same for the past 3 weeks and, though I know it's not officially a 'plateau' it's frustrating!

The last time I lost weight (3lb in a week!) I had what I classed as a 'bad week' any my cals per day for that week averaged out at 1705!

Since then I have averaged at 1579, 1626, 1675, 1456 (last week) and remained the same. According to my (lack of) fitness level (sedentary due to desk based job) and current height & weight, to lose 1lb a week I should be 1440 daily.

Obviously I have been over that but I'd have thought I'd have shifted at least 1/2lb as I'm consistently under my 2000 recommended and you should have seen what I was eating prior to this!!!

Any advice??? Am I eating too much or too little? Thoughts gratefully received!
