So . . . let's say two of your internet friends are trading mild barbs in a random thread, do you

(1) Huh? What the hell are you talking about, I haven't even had my coffee yet, it's too damn early for this crap!

(2) Ignore it. Heck, I don't even really know these people anyway. Have you even been on the internet lately?

(3) Lurk. It's the forums and they're always entertaining.

(4) Fire off a couple of choicely worded PMs because these are your friends and this matters! It truly hurts you to see such close friends fighting and if you can help you definitely will.

    I'd choose 1 and 3.

#4 (especially if you are female) is the worst option. It would require you to basically choose sides or try to be a peace maker. Neither will lead to harmonious feeling between friends.

#2 is okay. Just pretend you're busy and off line for a while.

    1, 2, or 3...never 4...not my job to sensor other people's interactions

and I know where the "delete" and/or "hide" buttons are, if I somehow find myself "deeply offended"

but mostly 3...really, I require ridiculous amounts of entertainment

My friends are all adults. And I don't care if they don't like each other, as long as they're civil about it.

    I stay out of it.
There is too much drama here from IRL friends and one's they've never met.
    Some just thrive on it.
    This is their life IMHO

    What about 5?

Create a useless thread whining about it.

    Shouldnt you be lifting?

    #2 for sure.

Unless you're one of the internet friends trading barbs and then all of your friends are required to go straight to #4 in order to p*ss you off further.

    :flowerforyou:

    But yea, #2.

    4. I make it my mission to explain to everyone how they should speak and behave, and If I see anything untoward, I feel it is my duty to step in and help out. After all, I have wisdom and psychology to share! Furthermore, I find that if the tone of my PM's are especially confrontational or condescending it grabs their attention better and the recipient receives maximum benefit of my perfect advice.:flowerforyou:

If asterisks show intensity of feeling then you definitely win
