HRM: Sigma Onyx

Aloha all,
I finally have enough moolah saved up to purchase a HRM, I'm torn between a Polar, which I read rave reviews on or the cheaper Sigma Onyx. Does anyone in the MFP world own a Sigma Onyx, what are your opinions on the model.
