Protein Powder Chefs!
Anybody have any AMAZING protein pancake recipes? Breakfast for dinner just seems so right. I have a run tonight, and I am feeling extra hungry. Pancakes always fill me up, but I am just so sick of my normal oat flour/protein powder/eggs deal.
That being said, I am in love with protein powder in all its lovely forms, and any new recipes that don't involve pancakes are welcome.

I use:
1 egg
1 banana
1 tbsp ground flax seed
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
Sometimes cinnamon or nutmeg and chia seeds
Mix up. And pour into a pan with coconut oil to cook.
Top pancake with fruit! Yum!0 -

I pretty much use this, except I use whole wheat pastry flour, baking soda, and add a bit of milk. The only issue I have is that I find them a bit dry, but with fruit they are incredible. The key is really to use low heat so they cook through, and I usually flip them a couple times (they end up pretty flat but it's delicious).
Typically it's around 380 calories and 44g of protein for 7 pancakes (without counting fruit).0 -
bump, thanks for the ideas!0

Too high in carbs.
The macros on those pancakes are 444 calories, 39 carbs, 10 fat and 46 protein for the whole recipe. That's using chobani 0%, oat flour made from rolled oats and stevia. Nothing wrong with those macros and nothing wrong with carbs either. For me the recipe usually makes 3 very big pancakes0 -
saving this thanks! pancakes sound amazing. I love having breakfast for dinner.0
