Recently my mom was diagnosed with colon cancer (she had not had a colonoscopy). It was a wake-up call for me to get healthy again. So, I'm trying to manage my diet using techniques from every diet program I have ever taken and hopefully will be able to lose 10 pounds by the time my adult show choir's performance in June.

    One exercise technique I have been using is a "walk-around". I walk around our plant for 5 minutes every hour. It adds up and gives me a little break. So far I've racked up 25-30 mins per day. Just another way to kick start the metabolism, not get board and hopefully burn a few more calories.
