calories burned for weight lifting?

Hi all, this is my first post. I recently decided to be active on this site again. I do have a question I hope someone can help me with. When I add cardio to my exercises, it calculates calories burned and add's that to my total calories for the day. How do calculate calories with weight lifting?

It was leg day for me today. When I do legs, I don't do cardio, and I go all out. I did my legs for just over an hour, and sweat like a beast while doing so. Any idea how I can figure calories for wights? Thanks :)

  • type in "strength training" when you record exercises on mfp and it will calculate calories for you!
