Carbs

So after a recent visit with my doctor and some bloodwork I was told "No Carbs"! Period!" Any suggestions? I know no bread, grains, pasta, "white" foods, fruits and sugar and sugar products. I don't think I can avoid them completely can I? If I can I guess that would be great. My sugar level is at 41 and she wants it at 17 so we're trying to get a grip on it quickly. Any help would be great. Doing this for the next 6 weeks. Thanks
